Fun with horses!
Bring the kids to send some time with our gentle horses. Join us at the horse corrals for a couple hours of fun! We will start with a hot dog BBQ before grooming and tacking up a few horses to go for a pony ride!
$500 includes up to 6 children
*Minimum 2 parent/guardians required
*Extra children are $50 each
Ride the range!
Coldwater Stables is located on the picturesque Coldwater Ranch in sunny Merritt, BC. Enjoy ‘riding the range’ on our private ranch. Day trips outside the ranch also available!

Essential Tips for beginners
Long pants are recommended
Boots with a small heel are the preferred footwear- no flip flops or sandals!
Bring a helmet if you have one, I have many extras if you don’t. Helmets are mandatory for guests 18 and under.
We are in the mountains where weather changes can be sudden.
Bring a jacket or sweater that can be tied on your saddle
Saddle bags and horn bags are available- just ask!
Rates
Lessons:
Private: $120 per person / hour
Group: $100 per person / hour
**Includes use of horse and tack

Trail rides:
$150 Short ride (approx 1.5 hours)
$300 Long ride (3-5 hours)
**Previous riding experience is
required for the long ride**
Equine Sessions: $500
